What if my brand is not on the above list?

 

If you have a brand that is not on the above list we can still repair your case if it is a fixed handles, locks, zips, stitching and patching tears although if it is a telescopic handle or a wheel unit we will need to see the case in store.

 

Why can’t you fix my wheel unit if it is not a brand that you repair for on the above list?

 

The bracket and wheel is one piece (unit) and it is manufactured for the specific brand. Generally we cannot use a bracket from one brand and put it on another brand of case as the bracket is shaped differently. We will need to assess the case in store to see if there is a slight chance that one may fit.

 

Why can’t you fix my telescopic handle if it is not on the above list?

 

The telescopic handle is made specific to the brand and can only be inserted on case it was made for.

 

I purchased my case in Australia…why is my brand not on your list of brands you repair for?

 

In recent years some luggage companies cease to operate In Australia and closed their spare parts divisions.

 

How long does it take to repair a case?

 

We can repair your case while you wait if the part is available and you visit our store during these hours Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm. If you visit our store out of these hours it is generally a 3 day wait if the part is available. If your case needs a zip repair or any stitching the repair can take up to two weeks.

If you have to order my part how long will it take to receive the part?

 

If the part is available in Australia around 7-10 working days

 

Is my case under warranty?

 

To claim a warranty simply visit our store with your case and purchase receipt. Warranty is manufacturing fault only. Warranty does not cover travel damage, wear and tear or misuse. Please refer to your brand’s warranty guidelines on their website.

 

I have an airline claim with a reference number, what do I do?

 

Refer to the page airline claims for information.

 

My airline is asking for a formal quote, what do I do?

 

If we have no formal agreements with your airline and you do not have a reference number a fee of $22 will be incurred and itemised on your quote. All assessments for formal quotes must be strictly done in store only.

 

My travel insurance is asking for a formal quote, what do I do?

 

For all formal quotes a $22 fee will be incurred and itemised on your report. All assessments for formal quotes must be strictly done in store only.
